Mind Set: Icky stuff on foot!

Calista jumped on my bed and I had my pills sitting in front of me. She sniffed them, didn't like the smell, and quickly scampered to get away, accidentally stepping on one of them. She shook her foot out in disgust and hurried to get away from the smelly culprit. Her ears pinned back, she jumped off the bed, stopped at the doorway and licked her foot frantically.
Poor cat. Stepping on a pill upset her. -SMCD

Mind Set: Avoid eye drops

Whilst giving Calista her eye drops on the counter, she put up a bit of a struggle. The sink was filled half way with water to soak some dishes.
She was squirming around and all of a sudden plopped into the sink. Now her butt was all soaked AND she had to still get eye drops. -SMCD

Mind Set: Sleep on leg

Calista was sleeping on my leg while I was laying in bed. She was on her back and her front end slipped off to the bed. Her head was on the bed and her butt on me... upside down. She didn't move.

Then her butt fell off and she was still upside down, not moving. So relaxed and in a deep state. It was just so funny! To watch her slip down my leg on her back without moving. XD -SMCD

Mind Set: Sweater?

"This is for humans..."



"I hate you..."

She was walking a little funny with it on. She needs to wear it at night time though when she's in my bedroom because it's freezing in there. -SMCD

Mind Set: Chair

Calista likes to jump on the back of the chair I'm sitting in. Well she thought she'd try it with my faux leather office chair. All of a sudden, I hear *scrit scrit scrit, clunk* She didn't have anything to put her claws into, slipped off and thus was unsuccessful. -SMCD

Mind Set: Hunt

Calista went happy crazy with the toys last night. Both of her "birdies" were in my bedroom and now she's taken to hunting the 3 stuffed animals I own. One is a walrus (which is way too big for her), one is a beanie baby kitty and the other is a weird little green guy in a basket. She hunted them from on top my dresser and scattered them around the house. XD -SMCD

Mind Set: Outdoors

My brother left the back door open and Calista ran out. I searched for her because I didn't want her to get into a fight with another cat. When I found her, I thought she had a bug in her mouth that she had hunted. Her eyes were all bug eyed and she tried to wander away from me, viewing everything as a threat in this huge place called the outdoors. I finally caught her and realized it wasn't a bug she'd caught; she had a ton of debris all over her face! XD Spider webs, twigs, dirt and a "helicopter."
Against her will, I had my brother take a picture of her.

Mind Set: Please Human, Receive Reward

Aw! I woke up to Calista's favorite feather bird stick in my bed. She brought it to me as her kill last night. And she knew I had discovered it. She was waiting for me to get up to get her praise. She was so happy! Smooshing all over me. >w< Such a cutie!

Mind Set: Help!

I leaned over to cuddle with Calista last night and I almost fell asleep on her. I woke up when she started to squirm. "Help! Get me out of here!" XD

Mind Set: Massage

Discovered Calista likes back massages. Her eyes roll back in her head and she starts to stick her tongue out before licking me.

Mind Set: Delivery

AWWWWWW! Calista came in my room, meowing really loudly! Then she comes trotting over to my bed with her favorite shiny gold ball in her mouth, jumps up, trots over to me and drops the ball down in front of me. She looks up at me, meows in victory and I about burst into tears at how cute she is!! >w<;;;;;;;;;;;;

Mind Set: Destroy Computer

Calista's paw inches to the computer keyboard. I yell "No!"

Over and over and over and over and over again, she switches paws to try to step on my keyboard over and over and over and over and over again. She has some serious OCD issues. xD

Mind Set: Walk on Human

Calista has OCD. Whenever she jumps on my bed, she won't lay down till she's walked across my chest. I even tried for 5 minutes to stop her and just get her to relax. Nope, she only settled down once I let her walk over my chest to the other side. She... is really weird.

Mind Set: No Medicine

Had to give Calista a pain killer which is in a pill. I rolled it in some cream cheese and she liked the taste. Then I gave her the antibiotics and that is nasty tasting. She wasn't happy about that one.

Mind Set: Owwy Teeth

Omgosh, Calista's teeth are so bad. >.< I didn't get a look at her back teeth till the vet assistant showed me. They're horrible looking! And the two teeth that the animal shelter said were missing, aren't. They receded so far back into her gums, you can barely see them. They have to be pulled. Poor thing... Must be really painful. Explains why some days she hardly eats anything. =[

Mind Set: Face/Glass

Woke up to Calista sticking her face into my glass of water on the night stand.
